WV Power: Two homers to start game lead Power to win

The West Virginia Power moved to 3-3 on the season with a 3-2 win over Lexington on Tuesday.

Back-to-back home runs got the West Virginia Power back on the winning track Tuesday evening at Appalachian Power Park.

The Power defeated Lexington's Legends, 3-2.

Lefty Casey Hughston drove one over the rightfield fence to get things started for the Power in the bottom of the first against the Legends. His blast was followed right afterwards by a solo shot to left off the bat of Logan Rattledge.

Those homers paved the way as the Power held on to get their third win in the second half of the season. Now at 3-3, the Power will go against the Legends, who are 1-4, Wednesday at 7:05.

The game will close out the three-game set before Columbia rolls into town for four games.
