WV Power: It's three in a row for West Virginia Power

The West Virginia Power produced a 4-2 win Thursday night at Appalachian Power Park, extending their winning streak to three straight.

After winning two straight to wrap up a three-game set with Lexington, he West Virginia Power captured its opener of a four-game set with the Columbia Fireflies on Thursday night at Appalachian Power Park.

Mitchell Tolman carried the big bat for the Power with not one, but two home runs.

It marked the second time this season a Power player has hit two out in one game. Tito Polo did it back on June 1 against Lakewood.

On the mound, Bret Helton worked six good innings.

The win improved the Power to 5-3 in the second half of the South Atlantic League season and 40-37 overall.
