Holgorsen talks about upcoming battle with Texas Tech

West Virginia University’s football team is scheduled to face Texas Tech Saturday for the Mountaineers' second time on the road this season.

WVU will face the Red Raiders, which are nationally ranked at No. 25 after a win against Oklahoma State, 41 to 17.

Head Coach Dana Holgorsen talked to reporters during a weekly news conference at noon in Morgantown. Video of that news conference can be viewed below:

Led by freshman quarterback Alan Bowman, the Red Raiders are putting up more than 50 points a game while allowing 28.

"It will be a huge challenge," Holgorsen said. "We kind of understand what we are getting into and are looking forward to getting out there and competing against this group again."

On the flip side, WVU's offense is putting up more than 42 a game. The Mountaineer defense has allowed 12 a contest. WVU will enter the game ranked 12th in the latest AP Poll.

The Red Raiders and Mountaineers will kick off at noon Saturday. The game will be televised by ESPN2.
