Game 7: Tug Valley downs Greater Beckley Christian by 31 points

Tyler May poured in 28 points to lead Tug Valley to a more than 30-point victory over Greater Beckley Christian in the West Virginia boys basketball tournament.

In a Class A quarterfinal game at the Charleston Civic Center, Tug Valley downed Greater Beckley 83-52.

Mason Layne scored 17 for Tug Valley.

Greater Beckley was led by Jay Moore and Chance Potter, who each chipped in 18 points.

Tug Valley plays next in the semifinals at 11:15 p.m. Friday. It will face the winner of the Ravenswood and Webster County contest, scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday.
