CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) — Looking to repeat as Class AA champions, No. 1 Chapmanville advanced to the state semifinals Thursday night with a dominating win over No. 8 Grafton.
The Tigers (24-2) shot 51.6 percent from the field in its 91-51 win over the Bearcats (11-16).
Chapmanville had four players score in double-figures and were led by Andrew Shull who scored 19 and dished out seven assists.
Jordan Kish was 6 of 8 from the field and scored 17. Obinna Anochili-Killen scpred 16 and pulled down eight rebounds.
Devin Collins added 13 for the Tigers.
The Bearcats were led in scoring by Jack Faulkiner who scored 18. Blake Moore added 12 for Grafton.
The Tigers will play in the Class AA semifinals Friday at 7:15 p.m.
