    Top-seeded Webster County kept its perfect season alive with an win over St. Marys in the first round of the Class A tournament Wednesday.

    No. 1 Webster County (26-0) defeated No. 8 St. Marys (16-9) 78-63.

    The Highlanders had four players score in double figures and were led by Tyler Gray who scored 20.

    Webster County's season leader in scoring, Dorian Groggs, scored 16. Groggs also had seven rounds and five assists.

    Cole Taylor recorded a double-double for the Highlanders with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

    Garrett Hamrick added 12 for the Highlanders.

    The Blue Devils were led by Peyton Auxier and William Steele who scored 13 points apiece.

    Webster County will play in the Class A semifinal Friday at 1 p.m.
