Olive Garden-obsessed couple to name first child Olivia Garton
WASHINGTON (Sinclair Broadcast Group) - A Fort Smith, Arkansas, couple loves Olive Garden so much, they're going to name their baby girl Olivia Garton.
ABC News reports Olivia, due in December, will be the first child of Justin Garton, 28, and his wife Jordan Garton, 26.
“We were able to make the joke, but a little more subtle, and it’s still a pretty name,” Jordan told ABC. “It was definitely an easy decision.”
In 2015, the newlywed Gartons ate at Olive Garden daily for nearly seven weeks using their $100 "never ending pasta" passes, ABC News reports.
“I’m only the third generation on my dad’s side to be born in America,” Jordan explained. “I just love Italian food and growing up in Arkansas that’s pretty much one of the only Italian places that we ever got to go.”
The Italian restaurant chain is "thrilled" with the Gartons' name choice. A spokeswoman told ABC, "We always love hearing the unique ways our guests have been able to connect with Olive Garden, and we can’t wait to meet baby Olivia.”
