Two men airlifted to the hospital after ultralight crash in Meigs County, Ohio

Two people suffered serious injuries after a small aircraft crashed Wednesday afternoon in Meigs County.

Beau Diddle, 27, of Racine and Bryce Bowling, 29, of Pomeroy were airlifted to Cabell Huntington Hospital after their ultralight aircraft crashed about 4:40 p.m. on Bashan Road, according to a news release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The release said the two were flying the aircraft when it lost power and crashed into a yard.

The crash remains under investigation.
