Two fugitives profiled on Eyewitness News' 'Fugitive Files' captured


    Police say Christopher Zackoski and Aikeem Tyson were both found hiding out in an apartment at Renaissance Circle in Charleston. Tyson was profiled on the "Fugitive Files" Tuesday night while Zackoski was profiled last week. (WCHS/WVAH)<p>{/p}

    A successful night for our "Fugitive Files" team after tipsters helped them track down two fugitives profiled over the last two weeks on Eyewitness News.

    Christopher Zackoski and Aikeem Tyson were both found hiding out in an apartment at Renaissance Circle in Charleston. Tyson was just profiled on the "Fugitive Files" Tuesday night while Zackoski was profiled last week.

    When police got to the apartment, they say Zackoski jumped out of a second-story window and tried to run but was caught. They found Tyson hiding in a dryer.

    Both were wanted for violent crimes. Zackoski is accused of attacking two people with golf clubs and strangling a woman. Tyson was wanted for first-degree robbery, wanton endangerment, domestic battery and brandishing a deadly weapon. Both are in jail right now.

    The capture of the two fugitives brings the total number of "Fugitive Files" captures to 881.
