Two fire departments respond to blaze at vacant home in St. Albans

Two fire departments have responded to a blaze at a vacant home in St. Albans.

Metro 911 said it was reported about 8:15 a.m. Thursday as a working fire on the second floor of the residence on Chestnut Street.

The home is located behind Kanawha Terrace Hardware across from the IGA.

The Nitro and St. Albans fire departments and the Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority responded.
