Ten people arrested in Charleston warrant sweep

Charleston police arrested 10 people in a warrant sweep.

Several officers from the Community Services Division participated in Monday’s sweep, according to a news release from the Charleston Police Department.

Nine were arrested on outstanding warrants, including one for domestic assault.

One person was arrested on a new charge of possession with intent. Police said 604 grams of marijuana were seized during the execution of a search warrant.
