Search for missing Kentucky boy continues
The search continues for a missing Kentucky boy who was swept away by floodwaters Sunday afternoon.
More than 100 people are continuing to look for the 8-year-old child in Morehead, Ky. Police have not released his name.
The rescue is now considered a recovery effort.
The boy was swept away into a storm drain behind his home. The tributary he fell into is less than a mile long, but feeds into Tripplett Creek stretching for more than eight miles.
Officials said they are using everything in their power to find the boy, including drones, boats, cadaver dogs and many volunteers involved in the search.
As of now, officials said they will continue to search for him until he is found.
