Police release name of driver killed in North Charleston crash
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) —
Charleston police released the name of driver who was killed in a crash in North Charleston Thursday that injured two others.
Samara N. D’Arco, 19, of South Charleston died in the two-vehicle wreck that occurred about 2 p.m. in the 3600 block of Seventh Avenue, according to a news release from the Charleston Police Department. She was the only occupant in the vehicle.
Police said the occupants of the other vehicle involved in the crash are 16 years old, and their names are not being released. Their conditions were unavailable.
The Charleston Police Department Crash Investigation Unit is conducting the investigation to determine the cause and contributing factors of the collision.
