Man arrested after heroin, cash, guns found in Raleigh County hotel room

A man has been arrested at a hotel in Raleigh County after deputies said they discovered 32 grams of heroin, cash and a semiautomatic handgun.

Louis Angel Figueroa, 32, was taken into custody after deputies served warrants for possession with the intent to deliver and conspiracy at Days Inn in Bradley, 32, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.

Figueroa is also charged with prohibited person with a firearm.

Figueroa was found in possession of heroin with a street value of $6,400, $600 in cash and a handgun, the release said.

A search warrant was conducted for Figueroa’s hotel room. Deputies and the Raleigh County Violent Drug and Crime Task Force found another semi-automatic handgun and an AR-15 assault rifle, the release said.

Figueroa is currently being held in the Southern Regional Jail. Bond has not been set.
