Eyewitness News is offering viewers an incentive to help families in the area during the holidays.

On Monday, Nov. 12, several Papa Johns locations in Kanawha County will offer a large one topping pizza in exchange for a 12-can donation to Feeding Families Canned Food Drive. The promotion begins at noon and lasts until the restaurants close.

The participating locations are Kanawha City, Patrick Street, St. Albans, Cross Lanes and Teays Valley.

Non-perishable food items can also be donated at Huntington Mall, Piggly Wiggly in Kanawha City and on Bigley Avenue in Charleston and the WCHS/FOX 11 studios in Huntington and Charleston during normal business hours until Nov. 9.

Union Mission President Jason Quintrell said Union Mission has about 8,000 items to help feed families this holiday season, and is still collecting items.

The organization’s goal is to feed 3,000 families.
