A Martinsburg woman who was among the nearly 60 people who died in the mass Las Vegas shooting will be laid to rest Monday.

Visiting hours for Denise Salmon Burditus, 50, of Martinsburg are 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Monday at South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood, according to information on the Brown Funeral Home website. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m.

Burditus was at the concert with her husband, Tony, when she was struck by gunfire.

She is survived by a son, a daughter, four grandchildren and had a grandchild on the way.

Authorities said Stephen Paddock, a lone gunman positioned on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Casino, opened fire on the crowd at the outdoor country music festival. It was the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history. In addition to the dozens killed, at least 400 people were injured.
