Deputies seek help identifying Kroger red meat thief suspect

The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help identifying a man they said stole $200 worth of meat Monday at Kroger.

Deputies said in a news release that a white male entered the Kroger at 301 Great Teays Boulevard in Scott Depot just before 8:30 a.m. on Memorial Day and stole eight family packs of red meats. The replacement cost was about $200.

The suspect is about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 165 pounds. The suspect has blond hair and is estimated to be 25 to 35 years old. The suspect was last seen wearing white shoes, blue jeans and a white T-shirt.
