CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) — It's almost time to grab your green. The Charleston East End St. Patrick's Day pub crawl is just days away.
The event is at 6 p.m. Saturday and seven pubs are participating. There will be food and drink specials and live music.
The fun will start with five East End pubs near the intersection of Washington Street East and Elizabeth Street. Starting at 11 p.m., the party will move down to two other pubs at the corner of Leon Sullivan Way and Lee Street.
Ticket sales benefit Charleston's East End.
"This pub crawl is one of our largest fundraisers for our East End program, so all the money raised goes towards our East End economic development implementing projects just kind of making it more inviting place for people to patronize," said Adam Stollings, Charleston Main Streets Director of Marketing.
A trolley will be running on a loop to bring crawlers to and from the pubs. C & H taxi will also provide rides.
Event tickets are $25 dollars now or $30 dollars at the door.
