Bluegrass, rock meet Friday at Live on the Levee

With only three nights of Moses Auto Group Live on the Levee left this year, The Band Wagon and Stark Raven will take to the stage Friday.

Opening for Stark Raven, The Band Wagon is a Hamlin bluegrass band. The Band Wagon plays predominantly bluegrass music, according to the group's Facebook page. Formed in 2010, the band consists of Josh Ray, Pam Ray and Jubal Taylor.

Following The Band Wagon, Stark Raven will be performing its second of two reunion shows. Formed in the mid-1980s, Stark Raven is a self-proclaimed genre bending band. The band combined folk, rock, blues, classical and mountain music into what its members call Rhythm and Roll. Stark Raven played its last concert in 1992, but have come back together to play at Live on the Levee.
