Alternative rock to kick the music up a notch Friday at Live on the Levee
The music will be rocking at Haddad Riverfront Park in Charleston this weekend at Moses Auto Group Live on the Levee.
Headliner Ron Gallo and his band, known for a big rock sound that is difficult to define, is scheduled to perform on the Schoenbaum Stage about 7:45 p.m. Friday, July 13.
Ona, an indie-rock band that hails from Huntington, will be the opening act, performing about 6:30 p.m.
Live on the Levee is a free concert series that offers entertainment on 15 Fridays from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. This year’s lineup features 20 first-time performers, 10 national touring acts and seven returning favorites.

The concert series serves as a fundraiser for five local charities - Covenant House of West Virginia, Manna Meal, the Religious Coalition for Community Renewal, Roark-Sullivan Lifeway Center and the YWCA of Charleston.
Every Friday night, representatives from one of these organizations sell tickets for a 50/50 raffle. Proceeds from the raffle are collected throughout the season and divided among the five charities at the end of the year.
