The music will be rocking at Haddad Riverfront Park in Charleston this weekend at Moses Auto Group Live on the Levee.

Headliner Ron Gallo and his band, known for a big rock sound that is difficult to define, is scheduled to perform on the Schoenbaum Stage about 7:45 p.m. Friday, July 13.

Ona, an indie-rock band that hails from Huntington, will be the opening act, performing about 6:30 p.m.

Live on the Levee is a free concert series that offers entertainment on 15 Fridays from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. This year’s lineup features 20 first-time performers, 10 national touring acts and seven returning favorites.

Eyewitness News is the exclusive media sponsor of Live on the Levee.

The concert series serves as a fundraiser for five local charities - Covenant House of West Virginia, Manna Meal, the Religious Coalition for Community Renewal, Roark-Sullivan Lifeway Center and the YWCA of Charleston.

Every Friday night, representatives from one of these organizations sell tickets for a 50/50 raffle. Proceeds from the raffle are collected throughout the season and divided among the five charities at the end of the year.
