Kallie Cart is an award winning anchor and reporter at WCHS. You can see her every weeknight at 5, 6 and 11. She joined Eyewitness News in 2011 -- covering several high profile stories, but likely is best known for her coverage of the West Virginia Water Crisis, where she demanded answers from the company responsible, telling the Freedom Industries president, "We're not done here."
Kallie is a 2006 graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. She got her start at WZBN in Trenton, New Jersey and worked her way back to her home state of West Virginia.
Kallie was born and raised in Putnam County and now lives in Charleston with her husband, Todd, and their little boy. She is active throughout the community. Kallie is a member of the East End Main Street Board of Advisors, where she serves on the HallowEast Committee, is a member of the Canstruction Committee to benefit Covenant House and also serves as host for numerous other community events. When she's not working or volunteering, she and her family love to get out and enjoy local restaurants, attractions and hang out with family and friends.
If you see Kallie out, feel free to say hi, and if you have any story ideas, you can reach her through email at email@example.com, Facebook and Twitter.
