West Virginia Power infielder Dylan Busby left Appalachian Power Park in an ambulance after taking a pitch to the head during Sunday afternoon's game against the Lexington Legends.

West Virginia Power infielder Dylan Busby left Appalachian Power Park in an ambulance after taking a pitch to the head during Sunday afternoon's game against the Lexington Legends.

Busby, a third round draft pick out of Florida State, was hit in the head by a Collin Snider fastball in the fifth inning of Sunday's contest.

After receiving medical treatment on the field, Busby was carted off the field and left Appalachian Power Park in an ambulance. He was walking under his own power.

The extent of his injury has not been released by the team.
