WVU adds two on National Signing Day to cap off 2018 recruiting class

The West Virginia Mountaineers added two signees on National Signing Day to cap off its 2018 recruiting class, which is 22 strong.

On Wednesday, the Mountaineers added brothers Joe Brown and Michael Brown, a pair of junior college transfers from California. Bother are 340-pound offensive linemen.

Head coach Dana Holgorsen and staff took advantage of the new early signing period, signing 20 student-athletes in December.

West Virginia’s 2018 recruiting class features four 4-star and 2 3-star student-athletes. The Mountaineers also received commitments from five junior college athletes and a transfer from Western Kentucky.

One of the Mountaineer’s top signees is 4-star defensive lineman Dante Stills. Stills, from Fairmont Senior, is listed as the top recruit in West Virginia.

The Mountaineers added 13 offensive players that will join one of the most prolific offenses in the nation. West Virginia will also be returning on of the top quarterback-wide receiver duos in the nation in Will Grier and David Sills V.

West Virginia also added eight new defensive players to its roster.
