Kids have the Power to get active this summer

Kids this summer will have a chance to participate in sports activities with their favorite West Virginia Power baseball players.

The Power is inviting children ages 6 to 12 to join the team’s efforts to get active. Kids will get to play football, soccer, Frisbee, basketball and more as part of Power Play Days, according to information posted on the Charleston Convention and Visitors Bureau's website.

Admission is free.

Below are the dates, locations and times for Power Play Days:

Thursday, June 8: Kanawha City Community Center , 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Friday, July 14: North Charleston Community Center, 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
