Game 14: Ravenswood defeats Tug Valley, will play for Class A title

With a 31-point performance by Isaiah Morgan, Ravenswood breezed past Tug Valley to win a spot in the Class A title game.

Ravenswood defeated Tug Valley 64-48 Friday in the West Virginia boys high school basketball tournament at the Charleston Civic Center.

It was a tight game at halftime, with Ravenswood leading only 25-24. The Red Devils poured it on in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Panthers 22-9.

Tug Valley was paced by Jon Blankenship and Tyler May, who each scored 12.

Ravenswood will play in the Class A title game at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. It will face the winner of the Wheeling Central-Trinity Christian game, scheduled for 7:15 p.m. Friday.
