Lee Pace Aaron Tyler on Wonderfalls ![]() After graduating from New York's Juilliard School of Drama in May 2001, Lee Pace made an immediate impact in his stage debut off-Broadway in "The Credeaux Canvas." Pace is the star of this year's Sundance hit, "Soldier's Girl," an extraordinary telefilm for Showtime, written by Ron Nyswaner ("Philadelphia") and directed by Frank Pierson ("Conspiracy"). Lee gives a breakthrough performance as a drag queen in love with a soldier who is brutally murdered for this relationship. Pace attended high school in Houston where he began acting, and got so involved with his craft that he dropped out of high school to perform at the local Alley Theatre. He was accepted at Juilliard (after completing his last high school courses), where he studied between 1997 and 2001, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. During this time, he honed his skills in such classic roles as Romeo in "Romeo and Juliet," the title role in "King Richard II" and Cassius in "Julius Caesar," among others.
