Dina Meyer
Amber Hargrove on Point Pleasant

Born and raised in Queens, NY, Dina Meyer studied dance throughout her childhood and loved performing on the stage in dance recitals. She knew she wanted to act from an early age and was accepted into New York's High School of the Performing Arts, but her parents convinced her to follow a more traditional academic path. She majored in business administration and minored in French at Long Island University and attended the Sorbonne in Paris. After graduation, she decided to pursue acting again and studied under Ron Stetson.

Meyer made her film debut opposite Keanu Reeves in the action-thriller "Johnny Mnemonic." She went on to star with Dennis Quaid in the feature film "Dragonheart." Additional film credits include roles in "Starship Troopers" and "Bats." Meyer was also seen in the latest installment of the legendary "Star Trek" franchise, "Star Trek: Nemesis," as the Romulan Commander Donatra.

Television fans will recognize Meyer from her role as adulterous professor Lucinda Nicholson "Beverly Hills, 90210," and from a three-episode arc on "Friends" as Joey's love interest. Other television credits include "Ally McBeal," "Michael Hayes," "Six Feet Under," "Birds of Prey," "Miss Match" and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation."

Meyer currently lives in Los Angeles. She enjoys rollerblading and snowboarding.
