A lot has been cooking for Nicholas Brendon since his star-making role as the sensitive, wisecracking "Xander Harris" on Joss Whedon's acclaimed cult favorite, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."

The worldwide recognition afforded by exposure from "Buffy" led Brendon to a string of feature film work, including ABC Family Channel's recent romantic comedy "Celeste in the City" and Charles Busch's indie favorite "Psycho Beach Party," a spoof of 1960s "Gidget"-like surfing movies with a horror/slasher twist. He will next be seen starring in the Sci Fi Channel original telefilm "Alien Fire."

When not acting, the Los Angeles native enjoys spending time with his family including his twin brother, attending Dodger games and, coincidentally, cooking. He is also a spokesperson for the Shuttering Foundation of America.
