Bill Dauterive Himself on King Of The Hill  Bill lives across the street from Hank. He likes to think of himself as Hank's best friend, but can't get any confirmation of that fact. Bill loves his ex-wife dearly and hopes that someday she might call him and let him know where she is. He has quite a few questions for her, including "Is it okay if I take your pictures down from the walls? They make me sad" and "Do you want your tennis socks back, or can I keep them?"Bill's an army barber, living out a dream he never had with skills he never learned. He takes comfort in lunch, as well as breakfast, dinner, various snacks and all the beer his gut will hold, then one more. His main hobby is standing. He also likes standing and watching Hank fix a truck or try out a new rototiller. Bill is a nice man, a good man. He may have let himself go a bit since the divorce, but his heart's in the right place. He's waiting patiently for a woman to ride up on a white horse, bring him to her castle, and love him.
