Lynsey Bartilson
Lily Finnerty on Grounded For Life

Lynsey Bartilson At the age of eight, Lynsey Bartilson was cast as the Wicked Witch in a production of "The Wizard of Oz" because of her ability to cackle like Margaret Hamilton. That cackle in her first acting role propelled her desire to perform professionally and she has been acting ever since.

An accomplished actress, dancer and singer, Bartilson's television credits include the Hallmark Christmas music special "Mrs. Santa Claus" opposite Angela Lansbury, Fox's "That 70's Show," "Suddenly Susan," "Zoe, Duncan, Jack and Jane," "Early Edition," "Seventh Heaven," "Any Day Now," "Judging Amy" and the recurring role of Parker Brookes on the Fox series "Party of Five."

She has starred in the Los Angeles theater productions of "Paper Moon," "Westside Story," "Tight Quarters," "The Philadelphia Story" and three different productions of "Annie." She won a Dramalogue Award for her acting, singing and dancing performance in "Situation Tragedy."

Bartilson has had a passion for dance since her first classes at the age of 4, and has continued to dance professionally, appearing twice in the Joffrey Ballet's annual "Nutcracker." She also spent a season dancing for the Los Angeles Sparks professional women's basketball team as one of the "Sparkids." She serves as Creative Director and choreographer for the Los Angeles organization Kids on Stage for a Better World.
