Maeby Funke on Arrested Development

14-year-old actress Alia Shawkat was born in Riverside, Calif. She has built an impressive resume with guest appearances on numerous television series, including "Boomtown," "Without a Trace," "Presidio Med" and "JAG." She also starred on the show "State of Grace," as well as the telefilm "Trial of Old Drum." Shawkat made her film debut in 1999 in the "Three Kings" with George Clooney, Mark Wahlberg and Ice Cube.

She currently splits her time between Los Angeles and her hometown of Palm Springs, where she lives with her family.
