WVAH-TV to produce 'West Virginia Opioid Epidemic' special

From overdose deaths to a jump in crime to families being torn apart, the opioid crisis is taking a terrible toll in West Virginia.

The focus will be on teen addiction and programs and services for pregnant addicts.

Join in on the conversation by asking our expert panel questions on social media on our Facebook and Twitter pages. Panelists will be David Gourley of the Drug Enforcement Administration 360 program, Cece Brown of Ryan’s Hope and Mindy Thornton of Prestera.

Moderators of the discussion will be Eyewitness News Anchors Rick Lord, Kallie Cart and Whitney Wetzel.
