The Ohio State Highway Patrol has released the names of the people killed in a triple-fatal crash in Meigs County.

Troopers said Maxine Boulware, 78, William Brame, 73, and Dorothy Brame, 66, all of Clemmons, N.C., died Thursday, according to a news release from the State Highway Patrol. They were all traveling in a Toyota RAV 4. A fourth victim in the same vehicle, Brooks Boulware, 80, of Clemmons, N.C. , was flown to the hospital with serious injuries.

The crash happened about 11 a.m. Thursday on U.S. 33 at mile-marker 28 on the Ravenswood Bridge in Portland. Troopers said they believe the Toyota RAV 4 was heading west on U.S. 33 when it traveled left of center and struck an oncoming commercial vehicle head-on.

The driver of the commercial vehicle suffered minor injuries.

The roadway remains closed as of 4 p.m. Thursday. The crash remains under investigation.
