Mingo County man facing drug charge after deputies find hundreds of pills in home

A Mingo County man was arrested Thursday after deputies said they found hundreds of prescription pills and a large amount of cash in is home.

Harm Daniels, 58, of Williamson is charged with possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance after Mingo County deputies and officers with the U.S. 119 Drug Task Force Unit searched his home, according to a criminal complaint filed in Mingo County Magistrate Court.

Inside the home, deputies found 120 pills that appeared to be oxycodone, 69 pills that appeared to be oxymorphone, 18 pills that appeared to be hydrocodone and 12 pills believed to be alprazolam.

They also found $1,738 cash, which deputies believe came from the sale of illegal narcotics.

Daniels was also wanted on a capias warrant, according to the complaint.

He is being held in the South Central Regional Jail on $25,000 bond.
