I-64 roadwork between Institute, Nitro expected to cause delays Friday, April 6
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WCHS/WVAH) —
Motorists traveling on Interstate 64 between Institute and Nitro on Friday, April 6, could experience some heavy traffic and delays.
The West Virginia Division of Highways said in a news release that the fast and middle lanes of I-64 between those two areas will be closed 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on that day for road repairs.
Highway crews will begin patching on the westbound side of I-64 for the morning commute and move to the eastbound side in the afternoon.
Motorists are advised to pay attention to road work signs and to slow down in work zones.
