CHARLESTON, WV (WCHS/WVAH) —

AAA’s website said Monday’s national average for gas was $2.54, about 2 cents less than a week ago and about 40 cents more than a year ago.
West Virginia’s average gas price on Monday was at $2.57 per gallon, while Ohio was $2.54 and Kentucky was $2.42, AAA said.
Some popular destinations for Mountain State residents, North Carolina and South Carolina, were at $2.39 and $2.26 per gallon respectively.
