Alan Jackson, Lee Ann Womack heading to Charleston in September

Country music fans can have a "Good Time" when superstar Alan Jackson heads to Charleston in September, with a show announced for Sept. 22.

Jackson will be joined by multi-platinum country artist Lee Ann Womack for the concert, which will be held at the Charleston Civic Center.

Tickets for the event will go on sale Friday and can be purchased on Ticketmaster, or by calling the Civic Center's ticket office at 800-745-3000.

Jackson is known for songs such as "Chattahoochee,' "Drive," "Gone Country" and "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere." He has reached No. 1 on the Billboard chart for singles 35 times and 50 top 10 hits, according to a release on the Civic Center's website.

Womack is a Grammy award winner and has also won Female Vocalist of the Year from the Country Music Association, the release said. She is a preferred duet partner for Jackson.
